CNAM – Asset Management Awareness Workshop
Due to the popularity and demand for CNAM’s AM Awareness Workshop we are taking the session online!
These sessions will be delivered virtually in an online classroom to allow people to attend the course without having to travel. A digital copy of the learning materials will be sent to you. Also, you have the option to request a hard copy be mailed to you in advance of the sessions.

- Tangible steps to begin implementation
Our regular 1-day course will be split into two half-day sessions – your registration covers both sessions.

- $145 per person. A digital copy of the materials will be sent to you in advance.
- $125 Printed Course Package (optional). We will ship a binder with printed course materials to you. Must be ordered 14 days in advance of course dates.
- $25 Printed Course Completion Certificate. We will mail the certificate to you upon completion of the course (electronic certificates will be provided to participants at no cost).
Facilitator/Trainer: Iain Cranston
Iain is CNAM’s Awareness & Outreach Program Manager and comes with 10 years of consulting experience. Most recently he worked with CNAM to write the AM101 Booklet that we hope you’ve already read!
Iain spent 6 years with CH2M/Jacobs’s Asset Management consulting practice where he helped plan and implement asset management programs in public sector organizations and municipalities across Canada, covering with a variety of topics from writing Asset Management Plans (AMPs) to Capital Investment Planning, and AM Policy to Customer Level of Service Frameworks.
Iain was CH2M/Jacobs’s Global Program Manager and a Lead Trainer for their 3-day Infrastructure Asset Management Training course.
Iain was also Program Manager for the CH2M/Opus consulting team behind FCM’s Leadership in Asset Management Program (LAMP) which brought together 12 municipalities from across Canada to develop a good practice AM handbook for municipalities.
Iain is a motivated and passionate individual and you’re in for a good workshop!
