Gabriel Bruneau has over 25 years of experience in the field of engineering. He has worked internationally in the private sector, and for the past 15 years in the public sector for different municipalities in Québec. Involved in asset management for several years, he was an obvious choice for implementing and overseeing an asset management program for the City of Granby.
As Assistant Director General for the latter, he is responsible for the city’s financial department. He also coordinates and supervises services to the population, such as police, fire, public works, leisure, culture and social development. In this capacity, he coordinates as well administrative services such as legal and human resources.
He is also responsible for special projects development which includes the asset management program. In this role, he heads an Asset Management Committee and ensures the implementation of sound management practices to develop the maturity of the organization in this field.
