Geoff Brown

Regional Director – Prairies

Geoff is the Manager of the Corporate Asset Management Branch with the City of Regina. He has approximately 28 years experience working in both the private and public sectors.  Geoff joined the City of Regina in 2009 and in 2019, he rebuilt the organization’s asset management branch and has lead his team in the initiation of various asset management initiatives in a drive to incorporate best practices within the organization. Prior to 2019 he was involved in planning and development aspects including City engineering standards, off-site levy’s management, stakeholder engagement and leadership of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for regulatory review of development proposals and planning of new or upgrades to existing City assets to accommodate city growth. Before joining the City, he was involved in the design and manufacture of equipment for potable water treatment for everything from individual homes to equipment for small communities.  Geoff is a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan and he obtained his Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
