Industry Partnership Agreements
The Institute of Asset Management (the IAM) is the international professional body for asset management professionals. As part of the partnership agreement with IAM, CNAM members get access to IAM membership benefits (including a login to access member-only pages on the IAM website); access to publications in the IAM Shop, including Recommended Books at the IAM member discount rates; access to the IAM knowledge base and knowledge products; and access to the Self-Assessment Methodology tool (SAM+).

CNAM has a partnership agreement with IPWEA, an association of more than 4,750 professional members who delivery public works and engineering services to communities in Australia New Zealand and Canada.
IPWEA offers training and professional development including the Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning, the Professional Certificate in Infrastructure Financial Management and Asset Management Foundations.
CNAM has a Memorandum of Understanding with NAMS Canada, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to provide Canadian infrastructure stewards with integrated asset management training, tools and ongoing, supportive mentorship to achieve their organization’s objectives. NAMS Canada supports all participants along their asset management journey, using a collaborative and inclusive approach at any level of practice and in both official languages.
NAMS Canada is an affiliate of IPWEA and supports their delivery of tools, publications, and training in Canada.
PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing maintenance management and asset management practices that result in reliable service delivery.
PEMAC offers an AM Professional Certificate and Course for asset management professionals.
As part of the partnership agreement with PEMAC, CNAM members get PEMAC member conference pricing (post early bird rate) for the MainTrain conference.
