The Canadian Network of Asset Managers (CNAM) is seeking candidates for the position of CNAM Secretary-Treasurer.
The CNAM Secretary-Treasurer serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors and is responsible for oversight of all CNAM’s financial functions. A reasonable level of financial experience is required for this position.

To be considered as a candidate for the CNAM Secretary-Treasurer, the following prerequisites and competencies are required:
- CNAM Member in good standing (any member category except student) (or willing to become a member of CNAM)
- Previous board experience, or other related strategic management experience
- Relevant financial experience (required) and asset management experience (preferred)
- Ability to commit 10 – 12 hours a month to the role of Secretary-Treasurer (including attendance at board and relevant committee meetings as well as assigned activities). Learn more about CNAM calendar of events.
- Support of your employer (including financial support) to attend the annual conference (in-person) and the Fall Summit (virtually), and the Board’s strategic planning meetings (virtual or in-person)
- Written support must be obtained before appointment
