The Infrastructure Monitor tool provides data-driven insights into G20 infrastructure priorities to help policymakers and practitioners examine systemic progress providing momentum to strengthen data-driven discussions and decisions. The inaugural 2020 edition introduces in-depth analysis on private investment in infrastructure and infrastructure investment performance. In 2021, Infrastructure Monitor continues to deepen the analysis on these themes and explores related insights that can steer actions towards meeting the global infrastructure investment gap in a sustainable, resilient and inclusive way.
Things to Know
- Infrastructure Monitor is a report and data tool. The report provides context and insights into what the data tells us and how it can assist the infrastructure-related G20 decisions and priorities. The data tool allows the user to explore and visualise relationships between infrastructure and development variables to discover how infrastructure investment quantity and quality relate to economic, social and environmental variables.
- The webinar will be a demo taking users through the report’s key findings and the data visualisation tool.
- Through this presentation, participants will understand the macro-level trends in the infrastructure landscape over the past decade. Users will obtain insights on infrastructure investment flows and their performance, providing momentum to strengthen data-driven discussions and decisions.

Chris Klos, Manager, Corporate Asset Management Office (City of Winnipeg)
Over 15 years of private industry experience, functioning as a Project and Facilities Engineer responsible for implementing and managing large scale capital projects, production line enhancements and facility infrastructure.
Currently, as the Manager of the Corporate Asset Management Office for the City of Winnipeg, Chris is responsible for providing strategic direction throughout the organization to ensure a consistent integration of asset management best practices are applied across all departments to optimize asset value and service delivery.

Daniel Galle, Partnership Manager, Global Infrastructure Hub
Daniel Galle is the Toronto-based Partnership Manager responsible for building the Global Infrastructure Hub’s relationships across the private sector internationally. Daniel joined the Global Infrastructure Hub in November 2019 after spending six years with the Australian Government-Austrade as Investment Director. In that role he was responsible for promoting infrastructure investment opportunities and developing business relationships that promoted trade and investment in Australia. Daniel holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Policy Design from the Politecnico di Milano.
Manpreet Kaur Juneja, Economist, Global Infrastructure Hub
Manpreet Kaur Juneja is an Economist at the Global Infrastructure Hub with significant experience across government, private and not-for-profit organisations in Canada and India. As an Economist at the Hub, Manpreet works across a range of initiatives including the Infrastructure Monitor, public-private engagement for regulatory reforms, transformative recovery and circular economy, advancing infrastructure as an asset class and quality infrastructure investment agenda of the G20. Before joined the Hub, Manpreet completed over 25 economic consulting projects for influential clients including the World Bank, Business Council of Canada, Department of Justice, Environment Canada, Brookfield and LSE Cities. Manpreet holds a Masters in Economics from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Delhi.
