For the September Education Research and Training Committee (ERT) Webinar we will have 2024’s 2^nd Place Tereo Award winner, Parks Canada, presenting on their innovative asset analysis approaches.

This project was completed with the support of Associated Engineering and Dillon Consulting Limited. The initiative employed data-driven analysis to evaluate maintenance needs, code and accessibility improvements, energy and GHG opportunities and climate vulnerabilities and adaptations. Parks Canada’s Real Property & Asset Service Management team uses asset management planning to assess and manage risks associated with the Agency’s diverse asset portfolio.

The webinar will highlight the value of the team’s collaborative approach, “Focusing on planning and executing maintenance, combined with the team’s operational asset management experience, provides an essential link between strategic priorities and implementation.” 

The advancements for their unique portfolio of infrastructure assets earned it recognition as the runner up to the 2024 CNAM Tereo Innovator Award.
