AM101 – Asset Management Awareness Virtual Course
CNAM’s renowned Asset Management Awareness Course – New and Improved for 2020!
Throughout the pandemic, we’ve been working with our committees, municipal advisors and experts to update and improve on CNAM’s renowned Asset Management (AM) Awareness Course. It’s now ready for your registration and we’re excited to welcome you online this Fall. One of the many improvements we have implemented has been the development of several new interactive exercises and a new parallel workbook to reinforce what participants learn from the sessions. In order to cover the wealth of content we have created, the course has also been extended in length to 9 hours (~1.5 days) and split into three separate online modules, 3 hours each, delivered virtually so you can pace yourself through the training.
The AM Awareness Course is specifically tailored for Canadian communities and municipalities of all sizes, locations, or progress with asset management. The sessions are appropriate for Elected Officials and Municipal / Community / Organization Staff of all levels. Participants will:
- Gain a better understanding of what asset management is,
- Learn why AM should be undertaken and the benefits to your community, and;
- what AM entails and how to begin implementation with easy, tangible steps.
