Renewed Partnership Between IPWEA, NAMS Canada and CNAM

The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA), NAMS Canada and the Canadian Network of Asset Managers (CNAM) have renewed their Partnership Agreement, which aims to identify ways to better serve our respective organizations, members and communities through collaboration and exchange of information, education, training, technology and management practices.

Asset management is the primary area for collaboration between the organizations. These associations recognise asset management as an integral element in the design, construction, maintenance and renewal of public infrastructure and a long-term contributor to the sustainable delivery of services to our communities.

“We’re delighted to be strengthening our relationship with the Canadian Network of Asset Managers and remain committed to working with CNAM to help develop capacity in asset management across Canada.” Said IPWEA President Ian Daniels.

NAMS Canada Chair Mat Greskie shares a similar view: “Three great organizations coming together to help raise capacity in asset management across Canada can only be positive for local communities across Canada.”

“CNAM is very pleased to renew its long-standing, collaborative partnership with IPWEA and NAMS Canada as both organizations continue the pursuit of developing and enhancing asset management in Canada.” Said Darla Campbell, CNAM Chair.

The continuation of this esteemed partnership furthers CNAM’s goal to engage and support knowledge generation in Asset Management, NAMS Canada commitment to supporting infrastructure stewards and sustainable service delivery, and IPWEA’s objective to grow professional networks to inform, connect, and transfer knowledge on an international stage.
