As the Executive Director of CNAM, Doug’s responsibilities include: the development, coordination and implementation of the Association’s Strategic Plans in conjunction with CNAM’s Board of Directors: Financial Management; Business Development; CNAM committee coordination; and oversight of the Administrative functions of the Association.

Doug is a senior executive with over 35 years of strategic planning, financial, operational and administrative experience. He has a proven track record of providing immediate contributions to the strategic success of the organization by combining financial expertise with an organized common sense approach to business. Doug has extensive experience serving on corporate Boards, including active participation on Audit Committees, Corporate Governance Committees, Environmental, Health and Safety Committees and Compensation Committees.

With respect to CNAM’s Strategic Planning process, Doug is responsible for assisting in the achievement of the Association’s Strategic Objectives.  In conjunction with the Treasurer of CNAM, Financial Management activities include oversight and responsibility of financial reporting, banking, budgeting, accounting and cash management functions of the Association. Business Development strategies include researching new Association initiatives aimed at the long-term financial stability of CNAM.

Doug has also been recently appointed to the FCM MAMP Program Steering Committee whose mandate is to oversee MAMP, provide strategic guidance throughout the course of the Program, and address any major issues that may affect the implementation of activities.
